Slipped Stitches

A small group of knitters with a range of knitting experiences - from the wise Maple Girl to the careful and fresh faced Sauce, and the full throttle knit or die style of Sly. Enjoy our varied projects and thoughts, and if you don't have anything nice to say...well...you know.

Completion!

Ahh...the ebay scarf is done! I'll post pics later, once it dries. I also finished a wee hat, I was hoping for baby J. Unfortunately, I know nothing about baby heads, so I think I made it too small. I'm going to block it with the hope that it will stretch our a smidge...it looks nice on Sal though:

By the way, Miss G, I'm excited about that messenger bag! Post some pics of the wool you're using.

The Cat in the Hat!!! I love it. He actually looks like he KNOWS how good he looks.

What is that marvelous stitch you used to make that?

Thanks for the Head Size info Lucia. It will definitely come in handy. I once pulled a muscle in my neck while trying to stretch a hat that was (much) too small for me. Who knew knitting could be so dangerous?

Sauce,
Nice pic...you too Miss G! I did five rows of k5, p5, then I switched it up. Sort of basketweavish, I guess...
