I'm confused

I think that I'm going to tackle hoodie next (from S n B)...I have been looking up yarns, and I'm having a hard time figuring out the weight. In the pattern it says that 50g is 151 yards (or 140 m), but I've been looking up both double knit and worsted yarns, and none of them match each other, let alone this yarn. It calls for Rowan Kid Classic, but I'd like something that is readily available. What do you ladies think?

To me, 151 yards for 50 grams sounds like a sport weight. Is this knit at about 5-6 st/inch?

Do try to match the yardage and the weight.
