Slipped Stitches

A small group of knitters with a range of knitting experiences - from the wise Maple Girl to the careful and fresh faced Sauce, and the full throttle knit or die style of Sly. Enjoy our varied projects and thoughts, and if you don't have anything nice to say...well...you know.

'Tis knitting season!

I've almost been too busy knitting to blog - crazy. I did go "Paris Hilton" when Sauce and I went to Romni Wools in Toronto...so much fantastic wool! I really had the shopping sweats when we were there! I have not been able to post any of my projects, because certain future gift recipients (lurkers, you know who you are) are not to know of their possible knit gifts. In fact, an aspiring blogger who we shall call Momimbo has pretty much made it UN-possible to post for fear of my ruining Christmas. *sigh*

Here's some of my sexy wool and misc. non-gift projects...
This is just a scarf that I'm making, inspired by the moss stitch on Coco's blanket, using a favourite wool -
What can I make with this gorgeous wool? It's hand painted! Beauty!
An ankle sock made of variegated lovely orangey pink wool -
Finally, the wool that I'm going to use to make the cowl neck sweater from Stitch N Bitch (a little gift for me) -

I'd better get knitting...even Momimbo deserves Christmas.
Paris out.

Blogger The Sauce Says:

I love the knitting update - I'm looking forward to seeing the posts of the xmas presents after the gifts have been given.
